Finally got my 1974 spider fired up and running. Thanks Mark / Greg at Allison for having that distributorless ignition system, was pretty simple to install.

Didn't have it running long because of not having any coolant in it...that's tomorrows project...then a quick trip up and down the street to test brakes and transmission.

Well, finally got her to start and took a two minute trip in car realized NONE of the gauges were working including oil pressure, so (project creep) motor and trans are coming out. Also have a coolant leak from somewhere that isnt the radiator ( which needs redone.) Was going to do rolling resto, but i guess not. Finally got her in the air and she is leaking from just about every gasket i can identify besides intake or carb as well. Only bad rust i found was passenger side surrounding seat rail, of course i havent scraped out the under layment yet to look at bare metal either.
