FYI: FIAT Dealer Coming to Norwood Mass

I was driving up Rt 1 yesterday and noticed that the old Saturn/KIA dealership at Dean Street intersection in Norwood MA is being renovated and there is a FIAT sign stationed out front. Any of you guys in the Eastern Mass/RI/Etc. area may want to do a run in the Spring up there and support them? I bet we could get sponsored (e.g. free cup of coffee). {:^)

Good luck with that ..!!!! Our dealer up here in Danvers (Kelley) has been horrible when reaching out to him about such things....

Unfortunately I don't think they have any real passion for the mark...or see any value in a relationship with us....
Most of the people you'll deal with weren't even born when our cars were made....

I hope that they learn from their last foray into the US that they need to take the brand seriously, but we will see. They have Chrysler behind them this time, whereas they were on their own before. Time will tell, but myself and a buddy with a street-race configured X1/9 will be over there to say hello at some point in the Spring. The Salespeople would be absolute fools not to make use of the buzz. Maybe if we brought that chick from the Fiat/Abarth commercial with us.... hhmmmmm.......

I have one here in RI. About 45 minutes north of me. I was wondering if they'd be remotely helpful with these older cars. Sounds like a, no?

A big time no. Fiat doesn't have any support for their old cars in any market. Some of their old cars are still being produced under license in countries like Egypt, but nothing like the Spider.

Its a whole different company from when our cars were made. But anyway it will be a fun outing and a good excuse to go for a drive and see what they are up to with the new cars. They may get a kick out of it, or they may be indifferent. Doesn't really matter.
