Vinyl

Post by Divers »

I ordered some vinyl from yourautotrim.com, but the color is not correct. Can someone point me to a vinyl that closer matches the original tan or beige interior?

Thanks,

Robert

Getting the tan to match the original is really tough. The World Upholstery tan is slightly darker and slightly more of a buckskin tint. It is the closest I was able to find. I got matching vinyl paint and sprayed the doors and console to match the seats perfectly.

If you don't want to go the vinyl paint route, you can contact the vendors and ask for a sample - most will mail a sample for free.

I bought the procar rally seats in beige and need to match those. I think the procar beige is very close to the original tan fiat used. Good idea on the samples.

Robert,

I have an unusual color interior and wanted to match the replacement boot and visors. I was not confident I'd find a solution. Searching around led me to a Toronto company for vinyl dye/paint that claimed they could custom match to any color. With low expectations I sent them a small swatch of my vinyl. Minimum order is 1 quart which they'll put into 6 or so spray cans. $110 bucks or so later I got the dye.

The results were amazing. A perfect match and very easy to apply.

PM me if you want their name or more info.
