1500 Cabriolet Joins my Fiat Spider Family

Post by launieg »

Well, yeah, I know it is just boasting, but I'm so excited about it I had to share. Got this 1500 Cabriolet today. Very lucky find yesterday. Superb condition for a 45 year old car, including clean chrome, all parts included (was stripped for a paint job) viable rubber seals, etc. Hardly slept last night thinking about it. Needs a good cleaning, and then I'll post again.

Looks good Launie. Be on the road in the spring?
Trying to figure when and how to get the spider back here. Wonder if my VW golf will tow it?
Wrap it well eh :)

Nope.. Launie has a 80 rust free shell that has to be moved to make room for the 1500. I have'nt a clue as to when I can get to it,but I have plenty of engines tranny's ect. to complete it.
The 68 in Keremeous is still there I believe, all it needs is shock towers re & re.

Nice find; especially for the "damp' conditions of the NW. Have always liked the roaster body style.
