Hi all, why do so many cars not have the "top" section of chrome trim that surrounds the grille? I've looked at several (and am still leaning towards the white 71) and this seems typical. It was the same onmy 79 when I had it and it always bugged me aesthetically.
thanks

Re: Newbie question re:grilles
be careful what you wish for. every spider i've seen with the top body molding has cancer under it.
Re: Newbie question re:grilles
you could change the hood to a large bump hood and use the chrome trim. I don't know if they fit an earlier one though. Maybe just try that.
