Vale, Marco Simoncelli. (RIP)

Another horrible tragedy today, in MotoGP. I don't know how many MotoGP fans we have here, but forn the uninitiated, Simoncelli "Super-Sic" was a polarizing figure in the sport, and was bringing back the personality in the paddock that brought many of us into the sport in the first place. Like him or not, he was good for the sport, and this is a horrible day.

In re-reading this, I am uncomfortable with the way my statement seems to say it is only the sport that suffers. Of course I think to his loved ones first. How horrible, to lose a shining-star in your family.
My original comments stem from the concern I have for those who loved to hate Simo, and there were plenty. I hope those who did can see past that, and recognize the loss that his family and his sport will feel.

I'm no Boy-Racer..... but if I can't take every on-ramp at TWICE the posted limit.... I'm a total failure!
