Happy Camper!

Post by dmg36054 »

My day just got a whole lot better. UPS just delivered what I believe to be a genuine, unmolested, never used, absolutely good as new, original, Fiat Spider service manual. It is beautiful. I never expected to find one, especially one that looks like it has never been opened. Only problem is it looks too good to use! Are the original ones more plentiful than I thought, or did i do really good? The photos were taken with my phone, so pardon the focusing issues.

There are reproductions of the manual that vendors sell but yours looks like an original copy. Where did you buy?

I have one of the reproductions, and I'll probably use it and keep this one out of the garage. This thing is pristine. Great photos where you can actually see what the arrows are pointing to! I googled Fiat Spider Service Manual, and just kept going through all the pages that came up. Finally about page number seven, I found a guy selling this one. He said it was original, but I was skeptical, and I was honestly expecting to receive another reproduction. Had it been a reproduction, I was going to give it to my dad. He recently bought a 1977 model.

copy it and put your copied sheets in the plastic sleeves in another folder, keep the orignal safe and clean...I know that's what I'd do.
