I'm soooooooo frustrated!!! The 28/32 ADHA boat anchor on my Spider was acting up (lots of raw fuel smell) and the fuel pump appears to have been leaking as well....and that's with the All Italian Car Show in Alameda coming up next weekend.
So, pulled the carb and while rebuilding it, an interior casting that holds the float fatigued on its own and broke when I carefully pulled out the pin to replace the needle valve. ARGH!
Living in the People's Republic of California, I have to replace it with another stock carb due to emissions rules. I can't believe how hard these are to find and how dang expensive they are. For now, I'll keep the carb, but I think EFI is in my car's distant future.

Re: Things that suck
Expensive? I'll send you one of these boat anchors for $20+shipping, and I'll be happy to be rid of it...
