Fuel Sender Nut Size??

Went to put the fuel sender into the tank so I can pressure test it, but I can't find the nuts in the pile of parts I have. Can someone tell me what size they are so I can pick some up at the hardware store. Is there usually lock washers or does the rubber gasket provide enough pressure? thanks!
For those of you not familiar with my situation. The PO ripped apart the car and handed me a pile of parts when he gave it to me.

I think I might have them in SS. If I do, I'll throw them in your box I'm sending out tomorrow. I'll pm you if I have extras.
I think they're 4mm. I'll make sure they fit my tank.

I think that you need a socket of 8mm to remove them.

I just gently turned it by hand. I did not use the die holder. It slide right through the grit.
