wiring harness for a 1978 fiat 124 spider

I have a 1978 124 spider. I bought the car with the lights all detached. I am now working on putting the lights back on.
I thought it would just be a matter of plugging things back in and a way we go. But it seems like the wiring schematic that I have from the manual, have different wire coloring than what is on the car. So I was wondering if fiat had changed the wire coloring in the wiring harness after 1978.

Thing don't seem to add up!
