Anyone that has read my posts knows that I received my 1981 Fiat 2000 free AND it is totally in pieces. Can anyone take some reference shots of their interior. Everywhere. Especially the panels in the back as well as the back seats. are there brackets under the seats or do they just slip in? Can anyone even sit in those things? I may fabricate a storage area instead. Haven't decided. But for now I plan on leaving things pretty much stock. Thanks 'guys. I'm amazed at all the help I'm getting.

the back seat.rear panel goes in first hooking the top in 2 places with 2 screws at the bottom
along the top of the seat there goes a trim peice,4 inches tall and curved at both ends 4 foot long
the rear bottom seat pushes down into the bad side and just pushes down in the front

the floorboards ot the seat is only 4 to 8inches.so not much room
however i have sat in the back of mine sideways.
there not bad for a dog ,suit case, speakers,

I also purchased an 81 in pieces!! Good fun and quite a puzzle!

My advice is to find a local FIAT friend that you can visit and inspect. Failing that, i learned lots at a local European junk yard where I could look for parts on my own. Several spiders were in various states of being stripped and made a reasonable archive.

What part of the world are you in?

All of my junk yards have ditched the spiders. Very sad. I don't really know what I"m looking for, since when I got the car it was in many pieces. I'm trying to put it back together, but it's very difficult not having any diagrams. I'm hoping the IAP catologue I'm getting will have some reference in it. We'll see. Probably not. I've contacted a few RI guys, but haven't heard anything back yet.
