Hi all,
Does anyone know if the VIN is STAMPED anywhere on a 124 Spider besides the engine compartment? If yes, is it the same "hidden" location on all years or did Fiat move it around?

Most if not all of the cars have an aluminum tag riveted to the dash support so that it displays between the dash and windshield. Depending on the year there is a tag in the engine compartment (later years had is stamped in the cross brace to the left of the hood latch), and also there may be a tag riveted to the driver side door jamb between the latch plate and door guide.

fiat probably thought these cars would rust away before anyone wanted to restore them. but anyway, there are no "hidden" serial numbers anywhere. on the 124 series
