I am wanting to replace the wood insert around the shifter as rear pass corner is brokien off.

Question: is the wood grain/laminate the same over the years or are they year specific? groups of years?
Is the color/stain the same or do I need to match to my specific set of panels?

The very early cars used real wood, later Fiat switched to a dark mahogany formica veneer over plywood, around 79 the mahogany veneer changed to something like cherry, and even later around 83 it changed again.

I should have good mahogany and cherry shifter panels if you need one. matt.scarton@gmail.com

My dash pieces are in great shape so I'm just looking for the shifter piece for now.

Matt sent you an e-mail

Found one @ Matthew Parts online w/ boot & ring (I need ring too) but can't really tell if it matches from the pic there.
