An impromptu event scheduled recently achieved a pretty good turnout, with a few handfuls of DC Fiats and these gems:
A Bizzarrini, Chevrolet V-8 power
notice the rivet construction!
Hey Denise, strap these onto your 4-banger!
Two more coachbuilder specials, an Italia (left) and an Apollo. The Apollo has a Buick V-8, and I believe I heard the owner say there are only a dozen in existence. The Italia has the Cleveland engine.
The Ferrari guys are always a hit with civilians:
These two engine compartments faced the steps to the coffeehouse, and the heat from the engines was noticeable a hour after arrival!
Quite a nice mix of Italian steel. Two Cinquecentos (one Abarth), two new 500s and much more
I'm a sucker for the older models, including this drop-dead gorgeous Alfa
Despite humidity that could be cut with a knife, everybody seemed to have a good time. Hope to see you at another DC Fiats event!
