Just got my car painted should o put the pin stripe back on or not?

It took me hours to peel my stripe of and I like it better without but that is me. I think less is more.
The Spider is pretty much a Ferrari in the front and a Peugeot in the back and the stripe enhances that by the door handle.
On the other hand, the stripe makes it more period correct.

Try driving it around without for a while...see what you think. What colour is the car?

The color is Italian Racing Green a very dark green almost black from far away. It would save me some money if i did not have it put back on the car but it might really accent the lines the car has. The stripe would match the convertible top which is a tan.

Personal thing, but I also think they distract from the car and a nice paint job.

I removed them from my 1980s original paint and it looks much, much better. Others I have talked to think so to.

I like it better with. I think it accentuates the lines.

You have to do what you want to do. Your going to get so many different responses. Why don't you pin stripe one side and not the other. Leave it on for a week and if you don't like it. Just take it off, It should come off easy since it's new. Just make sure your car is cured properly.

I added a white pinstripe to mine from autozone, and I really love it. I think it helps follow the lines better. Probably depends on what color your car is and how the light reflects off of it, but I definitely think it was an improvement for mine.
