Re: rear brakes
had an extremely thorough discussion about this little do-hickey on Mirafiori within the last 6 months. bottom line is it can be bypassed without any serious side effects.
Re: rear brakes
Sweet, anybody done this with a writeup? I know I can figure it out, but the visual would be nice....thanks...L

Re: rear brakes
Best advise I can give is to thoroughly clean the area with a blast of water and a bristle brush to remove the accumulated grime before you start work in this area.
And when installing the new valve, connect the hydraulic lines FIRST, then go ahead and install the bolts that secure it to the bracket. Otherwise you risk cross threading the fittings. You'll understand it when you get there.
Good Luck

Re: rear brakes
It's very simple. Mark Sells a bypass. You remove all the old junk and replace the bypass then bleed. Might as well replace the central brake hose too.
1978 Spyder 1800 make that 2L! Finally making real progress!
