Ok guys I am trying to remove my axles and differential from my 73's rear end. Can someone run me through how to do this. It is the first time I have taken (or atleast) tried to get a axle out of a solid rear end. I can not figure it out for the life of me. Any help would be great!

First you will need to remove the brakes and back plate from the rear end. There is a ring clip behind the axle hub that needs to be removed. Once it is removed the axles will come out then you can unbolt the pumpkin and remove it. My advice is to get a good set of ring clip pliers as the clips on the rear end are a royal pain to remove.
