website link in signature

Hello All -
I'm trying to figure out a way to link my blog into my signature.
Copied and pasted the address into the signature, doesn't seem to link
Embedded the address between URL 'bookends', doesn't seem to link either.
What can I do to have my blog appear, and link, in my signature?
Any and all info is greatly appreciated.
