I found several replacement sources for seat belts for my 79 Spider. ALL of them have the clasp end with a cable length of 13 inches. I measured my original equipment and it is a 10 inch cable. I measured and a 13 inch cable length would make it stick up extraordinarily high in my opinion.
Has anyone actually installed new front belts? What is the length of the clasp end's cable next to the console? Is it working out O.K. or is it too high? Pictures would help immensely?
I've seen a picture of a 1981 Spider with the push-button type clasp and it sticks way up compared to my 79's. Help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!
