Anyone have any experience fitting Alfa Romeo Spider seats in a Fiat 124 Spider? After spending some time in a friend's Alfa, I found the seats far more comfortable and supportive than the Fiat's stock seats. Plus, my driver's side seat is in need of the frame fix and a re-upholstery job which would cost more than it takes to buy a decent set of used Alfa seats.
I guess the first step is in measuring the frame rail width of the two seats...
Any opinions?

not sure if my car or seats had work done before I owned it but, I put 1968 spider seats in my 1980 spider. there was a width issue with the slide rails.the 1980 was narrower or vise versa. it was correctable but make sure you measure side to side top and bottom and that they a square. from corner to corner. anything is possible just requires more work
