I need to remove the trunk lock and "2000" trim plate from my 1980 Spider. But I don't want to break it. Does anyone know if the ring in the photo is screwed onto the tumbler housing?

Also, how do I insert an image into a post?

IIRC the retaining ring will unscrew off the threaded barrel and the lock cylinder assembly will come out the front.
