Trunk Boards

Hey all,
Just bought a '78 and am loving it. Needs a few things but is generally in good repair. Anyone have a tracing of the trunk boards? Mine were virtually destroyed so I finished the job but alas have nothing there now. I'm in northern NJ and could also take a trip nearby and do the tracings myself if someone were to make their trunk available.

Thanks for the help.

What a deal! Cut two pieces of 1/4" plywood, 20 x 31" and 28 x 31", visit a genuine diner for breakfast, come home with trunk boards ready to cut! You did save the two "H" clips from your old boards, yes?

Fiatisto,

So, where in NJ? There's a bunch of us.

Hey Brady, everybody in NJ is "North" of you. But actually most of us are in Central NJ.

I'm in Bloomfield, north of Newark. Had seen your NJ group guys, would be good to meet y'all, I need some learnin'!

Bernie, I'm thinking I did not save the clips, although there may have been only one. If they are simple I can fab something up. Where is this diner? Not sure how far I trust the car to go at this point.

Fiatisto,

Hey, I graduated from Bloomfield High School.

Which was..ahem.. a few years ago.

I'm at the Shore now.

Come on, join the crowd.

I've got original boards in mine. I wouldn't use them to trace new ones though. I've got to make me set too one of these days. But some of the other guys will have good ones.

I get it now, sorry for my density. I'll plan on making an upcoming event, tracing tools in hand.
