Torque for oil pan bolts?
Torque for oil pan bolts?
I guess its normal but I noticed a little oil seeping out of the oil pan gasket. I checked the oil pan bolts and some seemed a little loose, I tried tightening them a little bit decided to ask here first before I overtorqued them. I looked in my book but couldn't find the torque for the pan bolts. Anyone know? Thx.

I wouldn't go above 8-10 ft/lbs.

The maximum toque for a 8.8 grade 6 mm bolt, oiled is 69 inch pounds or 5.75 ft pounds. I don't remember the grade of the oil pan bolts.
