Does anyone have any advice or experience on what type of racing seats or aftermarket seats are out that are a "simply" swap for the factory....? Thanks

Yes that seems to be true for what I have noticed also. In my first spider I used seats out of a 89 firebird and found that I had to cut the seat perchs down so that the seat would sit low enough to feel like the original spider seats. In my new spider I am using 96 honda prelude seats. They are really low out of the gate so they should work well.

I'm very interested in how those Prelude seats work out. I'm a big guy and am concerned about how fragile the original seats in my car are. I suspect I'm going to be replacing/reinforcing them at some point.

I will keep everyone informed as I go. :) Currently I am stripping my car down to it shell. And then loading it onto a rotisserie so that i can repair the rusty areas and strength the framework a little for my v6 conversion.

Cheers!
