i have taken out the windshield cowl and removed the bolts that go on the wiper arms but i can't get the motor and the the assembly out. i unbolted the motor but it still won't budge. do i pry the cone shaped covers that meet the cowl panel and if i do will there be a nut under that?
thank you for any suggestions.

There are four bolts that hold the wiper bracket to the the underside of the cowl. There are two thin chrome nuts that have to be removed from the top side that hold the two black plastic cone shaped things. One you take the nuts off, pull the plastic cones off and anything else there. Watch out for the o-rings that are on the black cones. Now it should fall out of the other side.

thank you for your reply. problem is the nuts are off but the cones don't move. it's as if their is a bolt under the cones although i don't believe there is. i couldn't even pry them off. i tried to hammer the threaded part for the wiper arms back through but no luck.. it is just plain stuck.
