HIDs on your car?

has anyone done this to there car? i would love to see how it looks what it cost you to do it

Unless you use real HID reflectors, shields/shutters and lenses, changing standard removable bulb headlights into "HID" bulbs will do very little beyond putting a ton of unfocused light down the road that will blind drivers you are following and those coming towards you.

All of those eBay "kits" create a nightmare.

Buy some Hella, Cibie or other left hand drive replaceable bulb headlights. Go with uprated proper bulbs (65/100w), uprate the wiring gauge and install high and low relays to maximize the electrical current available.

Real HID lights are great but just changing a bulb to an HID bulb in a housing intended for a regular bulb is not the way to go.

i have a friend that installs the entire thing into cars and he was telling me that he would do it and so i was just wondering if anyone has done it. thats for the info and i know that he is going to do a good job and not mess everything up in my car.
