NJFIATS.org Barbecue

Post by lanciahf »

George invited the NJFIATS.org clan to his house for a barbecue. We had a lot of fun removing the motor from the parts car and rescuing one of our fellow members from a failed clutch cable near the NJ turnpike. Luckily George had an extra clutch cable and the rescue went smooth.

Congratulations on a successful picnic ... and a couple of repairs, to boot!

Your chapter is growing exponentially - the fun grows at the same rate, it seems. Hope to make it to a lighthouse run or breakfast one of these years!

Fixing fellow members cars will do that to you. Timing Belt shields anyone?

Good thing your spies weren't out today, George, or you would have caught Debbie & I returning home from Avalon. 8)

Sorry, October 3 is a DC Fiats run that I'm helping on :( I think some of you will be on Capt. John's Crab Run here on 10/31? He promises a fresh batch of Limoncello to ward off the autumn chill.

http://www.dcfiats.org/events/index.html#local John splits up the group, and you actually cross paths a few times. Usually about 20 cars, and we end up at a restaurant on the Bay. If you'd like help finding a hotel, let me know.

We didn't get to AC, just the beautiful beach. Another weekend in Sept. in Cape May, my favorite spot.
