best source for brake parts, and cleaning up rusty pistons

What's the best source (i.e. price/quality) for brake parts? Right now looking at new front rotors and maybe even calipers for 1980 2000.

Also, has anyone had luck with cleaning up the rusty pitting found on slave pistons, rather than simply buying the whole new caliper? JB Weld?

Thanks for the advice.

I try to use our faithful Fiat vendors when I can for parts. Pads and rotors are very inexpensive through International Auto Parts or Vick Auto. Also check Midwest Bayless for availability. As for calipers, you can get rebuilt ones cheaper at the chain stores.

if the caliper pistons are pitted, they need to be replaced.

Advance Auto Parts has re-built calip BUT you have to check them out carefully. I had to order 4 or 5 before I got 2 that were done right... check all the screws and the hose connections.
