Sam was reconnected with his family during the FFO Saturday banquet! It was a big surprise for me to have him come home and I'm still going through all the cool stuff he collected during his travels. There are scenic postcards from various places, as well as the knife he cut himself out of the box with. There are pins, including some from the Winter Olympics, leis from Hawaii, maple syrup from Canada, and vegemite from Australia. Has anyone ever tasted vegemite? How are you supposed to eat that stuff, fellas? Sam even has his own passport, with an offical Australian stamp! Did you know Sam has also become an ASE Certified Technician? I want to thank each and every one of you guys for taking such great care of Sam and showing him a great time. I'm working on a scrapbook for him so he can share his travels with his friends. You guys are awesome!!!

Be warned  !! It is an aquired taste for those whose genetic makeup shows an absence of Aussie chromosomes :? .
A little bit goes a long way. My favourite is on warm buttered toast - just a very thin smear on top of the butter before it melts  delicious .

Okay, if you say so, Curly. The best part of the weekend was when Craig's sweet daughter Heather (who was the original kidnapper) took a spoonful out of the jar and stuck it in her mouth. The smell would have caused anyone with a little more sense to proceed with caution, but her face was memorable! Payback comes in the most unexpected ways, doesn't it?

I had no idea how many uses there were in such a little jar! No wonder the Aussie children love this versatile product.
