Great looking hose work. Is there any particular place you got the silicone hose?? I am gonna change my small filter under the car and all of my fuel line hoses are aging. Thanks for any response.

I also bought this kit from AR. The toughest fit was getting the hose over the lower crankcase breather. Lucky, I had the fuel manifold pulled...made the job much easier. :)

Finally, its road worthy :)

The old Goodyears were older then the guy at the tire shop :!: Sent out the rims for powder coating. Ordered the Achilles Platinum (185/70R13) on-line. I had the alignment completed this morning (it was way off).

I think I'll slow down on the fix-it list and enjoy the ride for awhile :D

I used steel wool to remove the old finish. Then all Rustoleum products, grey primer, metallic silver, and clear coat. I found out the hard way that if you omit the primer, the metallic silver will sort of dimple, leaving a terrible finish. :( Acetone to remove. :)

I did the same thing as yours and yours looks great! I also rubbed a little red paint in to the "ferrero" recess and then wiped the excess off with paint thinner and it looks really nice. A subtle but nice detail.

They look to be quality tires. Do you know where are they made?

Not entirely sure about the red over clearcoat, but I would expect that the overage would easily wipe off of it.

Indonesia. http://www.achillesradial.com/en/company-profile

I really like them. balanced easily. absolutely no shimmy or vibration at freeway speeds. good stick in the curves.

I noticed previously that the 2 wire leads to the head sensors had cracked and brittle insulation. I wrapped them with electrical tape as an interim fix. This morning, I rummaged around my garage to find the butt connectors, wire, spade connectors, liquid tape, and heat shrink to do a proper repair. I used the liquid tape to seal the connector ends before I enclosed the butt connectors in heat shrink tubing.

The sensor's caps are also brittle and cracked during their removal. I plugged the ends with polyester fiber and applied liquid tape to seep in and seal.

Do you know that those rubber sensor caps are available new?

Well, now I do.
This was a spontaneous repair, or I may have found and ordered them.
