Jim, yours will be great! Keep up the good work!
Joe, the kart has been a great project!
My daughter and two friends petitioned the school board and started the "GEECS" (girls entering engineering club) The club is a dozen strong since the beginning of the school year and on April 2nd they will compete with their kart at Florida Gulf Coast University. It has been a pleasure helping and mentoring! They all dug in and tried welding,

They are learning about metal work, electronics, solar power, braking systems... It's just great!

On another great, my 14 year old is more and more excited about his spider and has very slowly, with lots of watching by dad, started digging into the 40s for his car.

I've really got to get mine done and out of his way!

I'm sure everyone thinks I have given up but really, I'm just fighting with my photobucket and posting without pictures isn't as fun. I've been restoring the window hardware and getting the regulators back in the doors, reworking the front fenders around my tires a bit and restoring the headlight buckets.
Of course, the usual distractions like finishing up the IDF 40 rebuild with my son and building ramps for my trailer.
Sorry no pictures and I'm off to see what I can sort out with my photobucket.

Funny enough, on my 77, after lowering a bit, I had some rubbing at the inner wheel well at the back. With this one, I am having to reshape the lower front lip just a tiny bit. All is well except hard braking into a corner. Hopefully I will not be in that situation often but I would rather clear the fender lip at all times.
I have sorted my photobucket issues and will upload some pictures soon.
