it will easily clear the intake on a 2L. It will be close on a 1.8 but should clear. On a 1.8, the top of the trigger unit is almost even with the top of the block

Just finished installing the distributorless ignition system to solve my hood clearance issue. What an easy install!
Plus I couldn't believe how easy it was to set the timing. After doing the static timing set up using the red LED, the car runs PERFECT! The timing was dead on. GREAT product. Thanks!
