Thanks DRUMMOND and familyman for your comments. It is nice to know that posting here are apriciated and i have have been following other threads with great interrest.

One thing i have learned during this restoration prossess is that everything takes a lot longer time than first expected. I am still waiting for my spider to return from paint shop. Hopefully i can pick it up tomorrow ! I know they have done a great work, prepping and sanding the car. Meanwhile i have been sorting out parts and i made a polishing machine for the stainless steel framework. Here a some photos.

Looking good. I really like the silver trim on the wheels. It sets the black off from the red perfectly.

joelittel, i think the wheels are a good match to the red color too. The silver trim on the wheels hopefully will be nice together with other chrome parts.

I got the rest of the painted parts today.

Rear bumpers and lights installed. I wanted to keep the original License plate light. I installed the early License plate lights in the bumpers just as an end cover.

Agreed. I think most of us enjoy the garage as much as the car!

[quote="royn"]Some more updates. I have installed front suspension and brakes. I had to change the bushings in both upper and lower Control arms.
I used Vogtland lowering springs, front and rear.

Where have you bought those lowering springs?

Hi QuebecFiatSpider,
I got the lowering springs from Germany. I bought a complete set with springs and shocks. The shocks seem to be made in Italy and are oil filled.

Just curious, have you bought a replacement carpet kit for your spider? If yes to whom you decided to buy from?

When you say you bought your springs in Germany, did you buy them from «SpiderPoint»
