thanks guys... i won't post a pic of it lit up until the body work is done.. that way i can light up the tails, the third brake light and the reverse lights so i can show it off... i'm hoping to be done with the rear within a week.... i would actually be out there working on it still but i ran out of cutting discs to start on the other side... those buckets are 14 gauge and just eat the disks up...

I finally got the passenger side put together. it didn't go as smoothly as the driver's side... i think i got that "i know what i'm doing" attitude. Never-the-less, below is a pic of the light in place on both sides now. Now i have to finish welding both sides in and start the body work. My goal is to be done working on the rear by sunday night....

thanks... i put a thin coat of filler on and roughed it up then put a thicker coat on... going to let it sit til tomorrow to break out the straight line air sander with some 36 grit... doesn't that sound fun.... Going to buy a paint kit that comes with a gallon of base, a gallon of clear, and the hardners and thinners for $250.00 from the coating store. then i'm either going to paint it myself, or pay someone to shoot it.... I'm looking at getting Midnight Blue Pearl....

it would be a first for me to.. at least first time painting a whole car. i have based and cleared a fender on a porsche 944 that i used to have with good results... honestly, i'd rather a seasoned painter do the honors. I hate to mess up all my hard work with a bad paint job...
