I haven't done anything about it, but it is on the list. Needs adapter work, and we are in the middle of car season, so....

I finally got around to finishing the installation of the new radiator and hoses and engine block drain (and new starter and other incidentals) for a belated start to the driving season yesterday. My wife gave the car (and the stereo) a good workout, and so far there are no coolant leaks anywhere. I look forward to the next coolant change which should be considerably less fuss 'n' muss.

The gear reduction starter, by the way, is as great as everyone says. What an anxiety reducer. The old starter was such a heavy beast and no doubt on the verge of failure. I also installed a starter relay, so we have the best of both worlds.

It was nice to really rev the engine on back roads and not hear the rasp of sympathetically-vibrating sheet metal. During the winter, the annoying tin work on the backside of the timing belt cover was removed and bagged for the next owner, just in case he or she likes that kind of thing.
