To each his own but I like the silver over the gold rims. Looks amazing!!
I know it's a pain sizing those pictures but we love it!!
If you are looking for opinions or votes -- I would have to agree with Alan --- I would keep the wheels the color they are now instead of painting them gold. They look really good on that car.

Thank you guys !
I am glad you like it.
Painting rims gold is not a final decision yet , but I miss my other gold 13 inch rims very much.
Silver is OK , but boring . And as you can see I can tolerate anything , but boring . :D
So we'll see ...

I like the rims also.....but maybe a highlight color stripe inside the rim would liven it up even more. Great work!

Than I married an original booster with the Subaru WRX 1 1/16 in master cylinder.
It was chosen , because WRX has the same configuration like my car - 4 piston Brembos on the front and 2 piston Brembos on the back. So it should be OK .
I had to modify few things to make it fit.
The body of the master cylinder itself - mounting holes were off.
WRX m/c has a tank on top of it . And I don't have much room for it , so I joined the m/c with the original remote tank.

Image

I made custom nipples and metal holder to hold them in place.

Image

Original plunger was modified too - I made it about 10mm longer.

Image

That is it for now.

Preparation for the new engine -
500 unnecessary holes were welded shot , preped and primed.

New paint dried out and I started to put everything back together.
The hydraulics was all fitted and connected . Me and my son , we bled the brakes - all 8 bleeders , nothing leaks and the pedal is nice and stiff. Cleaned and painted sub-frame as well.
Looks like everything is ready for the engine implant.

And the firs test fit .
Everything is OK , but the header .
Since 2L block is a little taller then 1.6 - headers downpipe is a little to short now.
Will have to fix that.

I really like the way you encased the brake lines in the braided hose, gives a very nice finished look!
