Bolts have a 22mm head. I just pulled a pair of my '82 (not sure where the bumper is, probably in the barn). You need 'em?

Dancing away. I need to bring a copy of the license of the previous owner... Which isn't too bad because it's a relative. But I have to wait for it to arrive in the mail.

No idea. It's annoying. They want proof that he lived in CT. It may be a tax reason since he never registered it after he bought it from the orginal owner. Either way. If they take all this like they say they will I'll be ready for the road on Monday. Need to learn to drive stick more though.
I have to put my exhaust manifold back on too. Trying to decide if I should paint it. It's a heatsink right?
Also have to make a battery bar to put the threaded rods through. Then I'm ready!

Good Luck with the '81. From the wheels, it looks like you have a factory turbo model......do you?
If so, hear it is quite rare.

No. Oh man. Don't tell me it was a turbo and someone took it out. I do have to large studs coming off the engine. I assumed that all of them have the studs.

I have an 81 turbo with the turbo taken out. Most didn't last too long, about 40K miles. I have the parts and may be selling them. Check you harness near the intake manifold. Do you have any extra connectors or wires that don't go anywhere. I can send pics if you need reference.
There would also be a sticker in the center of the hood cowl behind the engine that would have turbo info.
Anyway, good luck! I remember that day.
