My car better be done. I want to go :!: It would be great to camp. Instead of putting a new top on. I'll just pop up the tent.
Tony, if you have your seats apart. You should make sure they're straight. Everyone else seats were bent.

Tearing down the seats and fixing them is on the list of winter projects, I'm putting it high on the list along with new belts.

Let me know if you need help straightening them. Looks like you'll in line for a BradyBelter seat belt guide.

Hey Brady,
What's the chance of getting your Spider all back together and running by July next year? That would be a real blast. If it's not ready you can always jump in with one of us. If my 1981's up you can drive that down. Ralph said he'll be bringing his new Lancia Scorpion. Can't wait to see it.

Sounds like there will be a slew of Jersey boys coming down South. We'll show you a real good time runnin' the mountain roads and testing the moonshine. Gotta be careful though. If you think the mob is bad up there, you ain't seen nothin' til you stumble on an old mountaineer's pot field. Maybe we'll get some federal funding now that DC is legalizing it for medicinal purposes. 8)

Brady,

As soon as I get through the holidays, the car is going back to the Poconos to fix the minor paint issues you saw and also get wet sanded. While it's there he's going to do bushings and send my gas tank out for relining. I will give him a February deadline so I get it back in March and then do seats and hopefully do some engine detail work for the spring.

The holiday months are a big pain in the ass when you are trying to balance family, airline, and military stuff. November and December are months where you fly crappy trips you'd never do just to get the holidays off.

I'll be there! Looking forward to it. Craig, as promised I'll bring my new toy rather than the Spider so you can drive it. By then it will be running smoothly. I am still learning my way around these ancient technologies known as ignition points and carburetors

You will find that Carolina and Georgia 'shine are great sources of zinc(and lead),and a dandy octane booster for your Spiders. You may have to do a little tuning,as the idle will be ''very high''
