Well I guess to be fair we should present some Triumph examples, however I think if you want a better comparison between Fiat and Triumph then it should be Spider vs TR6. The TR6 will give the Spider a run for its money. Of all the cars close to you the Triumph TR6 and the Red Fiat in Louisville will be the best.

Here is a pretty sweet MK3 GT6, not a drop top, but still very cool: http://louisville.craigslist.org/car/708473094.html

Spitfire in Lexington, kind of high price: http://lexington.craigslist.org/car/713804281.html

Spitfire in Lexington, almost same price as the TR6: http://lexington.craigslist.org/car/695813087.html

TR6 in Lexington, probably the best deal for a Triumph: http://lexington.craigslist.org/car/703739618.html

Looks pretty good, and in your neighborhood. Seller seams motivated. Do you have a 20-30ft camper to trade?

Here is a similar one in Georgetown: http://lexington.craigslist.org/car/698948673.html
He's had that ad for a while now, high asking price? Could be a good car if its sorted out.

Another one in Cincinnati: http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/car/676814782.html
It's white... yuck.

I've seen several of these ads for a few weeks, (been looking for a friend in Winchester KY). The top one is new and could be the best deal depending on what he is asking. Got any old baby stuff to sweeten the deal?

Matt
Actually I'm going to see that top car this week, although I told him I am sans camper. My daughter and I have been traveling looking at colleges which is why I haven't posted here lately. That guy won't give me a price, he wants me to make him an offer he can't refuse. I know where it came from, in fact it was painted (and owned) by the folks who painted a GTO for me. That was a $7K paint job, so the Fiat paint must be good, barring any new rust. I just don't want another red car, I've owned maybe 10 of them. It is a great example to test drive though, and if the price is right, it may be stupid to pass. I'll give you a report for your friend if I don't buy it. It has a small UofL cardinal bird painted on it, and I KNOW your Winchester friend HAS to be a UK fan, so that won't do!

Now, if I can only get those college tuition prices out of my head.....

Mark, no blonde vs brunnetes anymore. I want a Spider, it's just a matter of finding the fight one.
