Going to bed for winter??
Whats that?
Wife wanted out of the house to go to the outlet mall in Folsom on black friday, we were both getting a little cabin fever.
I told her fine, if we're going into that insanity, we were using one of the Fiats. Either the 124 Coupe or the Spider.
Much to my amazement she chose the Spider!!!
Walked thru the sea of humanity at the outlet mall for a bit. Thankfully it wasn't all that crazy.
I had to run back to the Spider to drop off a jacket that was too heavy for the conditions, so I had fun with shoppers looking for parking spots by walking around aimlessly for a bit  and then once I got to the Spider, I simply thru the jacket into the trunk and walked off. :D
On the way home wifey was hungry for lunch. It was waaay too insane in Folsom everywhere we looked.
So we drove up 50 a couple miles to El Dorado Hills and found a nice brew pub for her to grab a bit while I had a nice house brew and snacked on deep fried artichoke hearts.
As we climbed into the Spider to head home, I dropped the top and an older lady getting out of an SUV next to us smiled and just said, "Oh you Californians". I just said, "yup, you bet" and smiled back.
Ran the heater on low fan on the way home and had a blast running thru the gears on Latrobe road, with no traffic to contend with. And the wife never complained a bit!
