That could very well be the Spider that sealed Fiats for me! It looks like the first one I saw and recognized on the road after being introduced to these cars. I love it!

Hi JeremyB, The seats came from Summit Racing http://store.summitracing.com/partdetai ... toview=sku. They were only about $200 each.

Jeremy... Thanks.

Yes the console upholstery was fairly easy... it's cutting the pattern that was a little difficult.. went through several tries before I got the correct fit.

Yes... my son's car is the one with the black top, the red spider is mine... yes I plan on doing the same interior as my son's car since I still have over 20+ yards of the material still left (I bought the entire roll), I'm thinking making the pattern of the seats different, the dash/consoles/headrest/door panels will be the same as my son's, and yes the carpets will be replaced too, the steering wheel will be replaced with a wooden one so I now have 3 very good condition steering wheels laying around the house.

My son's car runs excellent but this weekend we drove to the beach and I think it's having starter problems, so I ordered a new starter and that's my project for this weekend.

It would be nice to dig up that article and perhaps post it here to give some tips to those wishing to tackle the upholstery themselves, It was fun, educational, and sometimes aggravating working the sewing machine but hey nothing's free and easy... right? The end result is you get to tell everyone "I did all the upholstery myself"... gives you some pride!

Great looking car once again... thinking about removing the bumpers as well...

Nick,

Great looking Spider. I also really liked what you did with your son's. It would be really cool to get a few cars together in Savannah. I think that I have now seen 5 Spiders (counting yours) in Savannah. My issue is that I travel a lot for work and my have a tough time coordinating but certainly would be willing to try.
