Yes I am planning on pulling the engine. I am hoping to pull it in a couple of weeks.
I like Italian food and Italian convertibles :)

A little more progress. My boys think it looks more like a boat than a car at this point.

Make sure you Epoxy primer that metal then use some 2K high build primer on it.

We were back to working on the car today and found a piece that is not connected to anything. Does anyone know what this is and what it should be hooked up to?

It is in the trunk by the fuel tank.

Never saw anything like that. Wiring does not look factory. Is the antenna in that location? Some kind of noise suppressor?

it might be for a power anttena
the power leed
one for up and one for down
when you do everything correct people arent sure youve done anything at all (futurama)

So we finally got back to working on the car a little this evening. We pulled the doors off and did a little more sanding. Image. Image. I made the mistake of removing the trunk lock linkage, the lock mechanism fell out and springs and small pieces went everywhere. Luckily I found all the pieces and will work on putting it back together later.
