I meant 2 more wins. I don’t think the Canucks will sweep the series.

I predict we win it in 6 games!

I think tonights game will be a rough one! (big time)

Thomas is the only reason Boston has been in the games so far. Vancouver have been by far the better team.

Boy was that ever embarassing. Thomas is incredable, great goalie. I'd be guessing correctly a sweep is now out of the question  Good luck next game boys, you're going to need it to get a couple past Thomas.

Do you think a 4-game suspension was proper for that Rome hit?

I would'nt mind so much if they had suspended the fellow that drove Rome into the boards and knocked him unconcious in the Nashville series. I believe the perp got 2 minutes and that was it.
Refs have a difficult job to do and to be good and consistant can be difficult. Saying that I believe its the suits in the office that hand out suspensions.
Canuckleheads have their hands full if Boston comes at them again like the last game.

The issue for me on the 4 games for Rome is consistency. If 4 games is the new norm for a hit where the "hitee" winds up with a concussion and it's the first offence for the "hiter", then yes, I'm OK with it. I fear, however, that the NHL will continue to be all over the map with these things.

1 game max. That was not a blind side check it was severe because Horton was not keeping his head up. A late check for sure that resulted in Horton hitting his head on the ice.
I guess Horton will think twice next time before skating past the Canucks bench to taunt an opposing player like he did to Rome just before the hit.

Best two out of three now. Canuckleheads had another meltdown like they did in the Chicago series. Did anyone catch the cheers from Vancouvers Rogers arena when linguine got pulled? I do hope they rebound and play the way they are capable, bunch of no-shows again last night.

Refs seem to have swallowed their whistles, as often happens this time of year. Wonder who will start in goal for Vancouver tomorrow?

That was better. Still only one goal difference though. Mystery what will happen in Boston on Monday.

Its got to be a conspiracy for more home ice revenue. First few minutes Canuckelheads had all kinds of chances but unlike Boston last week, fell apart after Raymond got hurt. LInguinie got yanked, must feel embarassed.Love to see the headlines in the Globe this morning. Overall an embarassing effort by the Canuckelheads. Next game is anyones guess but do hope the home team prevails.

I wouldn't call it an embarassment. Quite the opposite. Sure they were a shambles for 5 minutes in the 1st and it cost them the game...but for the most part the Canucks more than held their own for the rest of the game. That may sound like one of those "other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play" comments, but I think the Canucks have nothing to hang their heads about.
I wonder why there was no suspension on the take out of Raymond. Where is the puck when Raymond was being run into the boards? Nowhere near them....similar to the Horton hit. Also did you see Marchant pounding on Sedin? Sedin was just taking it so they could get the penalty...and then Sedin gets a misconduct.
I don't like to sound like sour grapes...but it really does make one think if the refs are wanting to sway the outcome.
