So my stud it dead? Darn it. I'll have to get by with three studs for a while. I can't afford to buy anything else right now. I won't be driving in the rain for a long time, so I'll wait on the gaskets too.

Also, if anyone is looking for any answers to questions in this thread that aren't answered, I try to answer most of them on my blog. And if someone here gives me an answer I usually add it to my blog as well. I want to keep it as comprehensive as possible. Keep in mind, I'm not an expert and everything in my blog is for informational purposes only.

Oh cool, I've looked at the blog a few times, it's really good.

We have different thermostats... But based on the really good description, I definitely drilled the right place.

I'm gonna start following the blog more closely, cause... "knowledge is power! " Haha. Also you do a great job on it.

Thanks Weelan. I don't really know what I'm doing, but I get the knowledge from here and translate it as I learn to the blog. Odds are, if you run into a problem I either have tackled it or I'm about to.

Right now all my exterior lights are working, but not my blinkers. I don't have my hazard installed or cab light. Wondering if it pigtails through. Need to look at wiring diagrams. I feel like I heard one click when I first tried and then nothing. So maybe a relay or a fuse...

And I was right. It was my hazard. I think of have some bulbs out. The side blinkers are going and one of the rear blinkers is out. Hope I can get the bulbs at a standard auto store.

Fixed a horn problem. It would just hooooooonk. Turned out the tab on the bottom was bent out and was grounding on the steering nut keeping it from stopping. Bent it up and all is good. And my horn fits in the hole. Prior, the bent tab wanted to push the horn out of the wheel.

1156 and 1157 bulbs are in most all stores
use some bulb grease on the sockets but clean any corrosion first

if you have a shorted bulb "like me"the blinkers give half a blink and then nothing

its on the list to fix soon

Everything seems to be blinking fine now. Just missing some lights. I guess I'll take each unit apart and give it a good cleaning. Contact cleaner and a tiny wire brush sound good? Followed with a little dielectric?

Arrrrgh!!!! Trying to work out all the light. The rear lights weren't working, so I took everything out, cleaned it and lubed it. I put everything back in and most of it is work. For some reason my rear drivers side blinker is stuck in the ON position. I'll have to figure it out later I'm frustrated. Also, my front side blinkers don't blink with the rest I checked the bulbs. I assume it's a ground problem.. who knows....

I don't think those front side markers are supposed to blink. You can do the modification that Daniel Stern details on his web site to have them flash too. I haven't done it yet myself, but it is simple and is on the list.

So, what are they for then? They aren't my hazards... or blinkers...

side markers are with parking/head lights

there is a way to make them blink

if the rear flasher stays on fix the front one then they should blink
