can everyone post a pic of their spider?
Re: can everyone post a pic of their spider?
Hey Ken,
Very nice.
Can you post a better picture of the back deck?
One of the NJ guys just put round fog lights in his grill. They look great and I think they'd look good on yours too.

I was going to put fog lights in the grill when I made it but I changed my mind. These are old pictures of the back deck before I put the fasteners for the tanneau cover

Ken, now I see why your car looks so nice!
You worked many, many hours on it, and have proof!
Did you keep all of your time cards?

Your car is really looking good Ken. What did you use to make the heater push/pull? I want to do the same but haven't got into figuring it out yet. I like your chrome handle on the controls.
Re: can everyone post a pic of their spider?
Thank you all for the complements. How man hours? A lot but being retired it keeps me from watching soap operas.
Brady the controls I am using now are just to get by, the cable for the heat/defrost position is so short without the consul that it really needs a side slide control, when I did my wife’s truck I used on out of a BMW and when I get around to it I will most likely do something like that or convert to vacuum controls from some other car.

Ken, did you make that rollbar yourself? That is exactly the style rollbar I would love in mine.
Re: can everyone post a pic of their spider?
Thats a Miata roll bar, I have removed the top and side windows so there is more room for the wider bar, you might get it to work with a top but it would take some modification. You will still need to make a frame for it to fit on.

I like my cars to look like the originals so I set out to restore mine to look like it had when it was released way back in '73. Not a car to show but one to drive and enjoy.
