Denise,

I have a spare car. You can use my Fiat for that weekend if you like - as long as it will be in a safe place, like Alvon's garage at night - let me know and we'll work out the logistics. Alvon has all of my contact information. I still need to get it out of my dad's garage and make sure it's sorted out (which usually takes about 15 minutes).

Wow Gary, that's the ultimate sacrifice and very much appreciated. I'll let you know. Although it would be nice, it really isn't necessary for me to have something to drive just so there are people willing to take my sister and me as passengers.

Denise,

Am I too assume that your sister will get stuck riding in the back?

That's just mean.

C'mon, Denise, go for it. You know you want to  . How many times in your life do you get a chance to drive a museum-quality car on roads like those?

Is anyone else from Orange County coming? We could meet up somewhere and caravan up to the valley? I'm in Lake Forest.

Anyone going west on the 210 Fwy. Get off at Sierra Madre Blvd/San Marino, Exit 29A, that puts you on Maple St. go through the first signal, park on the north side of Maple St. Leave Maple St. at 11:30. My Silver Spider will be there.

Since the Fiasco is still in pieces in the driveway, I'll plan to meet up with you guys at the park at 3:00. Looking forward to hanging out with everyone.

The beast woke up from it's winter hibernation. Took about 2 seconds for it to fire up. I now prime the (mechanical) fuel pump. It started and runs as if I just shut it off. Close to 150K miles on the engine and it's never been apart. Over 260K miles on the car. It's waiting for you Denise, y'all better come and git it.

You don't have to say it twice, Gary! Good gracious, can you imagine how upset my car will be when he finds out I'm driving his biggest rival?
