So keeping in the same frame of mind, a fiat spider from the south should be on a 6" lift kit and 33" mud terrains?
C'mon lets keep blunt generalizations separate from the love of cars.

WOW Spidernut,
That car is low. Did you cut 2 coils at each end or do you have controllable air bags?

I hear ya man but honestly if you saw a Spider jacked up on big swamper's with a snorkel and lights on the role bar everyone would be thinking it must be in the South. Actually I think I even saw one like that posted on this site or maybe craigs list. I would have bought it just fro the entertainment value. A saw a Mercedes done that way for sale just a few months ago down here. Jeff Foxworthy has been making millions off of generalizations for years and nobody seems to get offended or maybe rednecks can't use the Internet to complain? Let's all laugh at everything OK?

honestly, when we choose to stereo-type folks we generally tend to offend someone... whether they respond or reply or not.

the only folks we can honestly NOT offend with our typed words here are the Amish (gads and scads of them here in KOW KUNTRY). Amish ain't allowed to use the internet, and they are not allowed to use automobiles ..so....

i actually saw one of these cruising down US-12 this morning...

HMM, I'm a white guy as well but I grew up in the barrios of San Diego. I don't think the Mexicans I grew up with would ever take offence against any terms used. But, then again, I have not talked to those guys since we had to get all politacally correct. In fact, I used to get descriminated against because I was not a "Beaner". I do have to say that I really like the Vato-mobiles with the 12" spoke rims though. Some of them were really cool. Anyway, where I come from their are only two words that would end up in a fight if said incorrectly - Wheddo and Mojado.

Well so far I am glad to hear nobody took any intentions the wrong way after two pages. Especially when the word Mexican is simply used as a description word. I was pondering that thought when I made my heading. As far as I can tell nobody gets offended when you say a fiat has Italian styling, or a VW is German styling, etc. The Asians don't get mad when a white guy says the word "Tuner" or "rice burner". So therefore I was just curious if anyone has seen any what I believe to be called a Mexican style car. I've seen the show "lowrider" on Speedchanel or something. Not my personal style but nobody can dispute some of the impecible detailing and care some of these people put into those cars with all the chrome plating, hydrolics, custom framing and interiors and such. (I wonder where they get the money  )

are you suggesting anyone of Mexican heritage makes minimum wage and shouldn't have money to customize their car? Where does any of us get the bucks for our cars? Meth labs, smuggling, tax evasion?

Yo Yo, you mofo, don't be dissen my ride, down here in Detroit we have hoop-d cars These are cars you can buy for $200 that run but just barely with some big ass rims rims wedged in there. I personaly like the rat rods with the flat head v8's.

I wasn't going to participate in this thread. Looks like cooler heads will prevail.
