We'll have to see how things are going work-wise and money-wise though. So far we're able to stay above water, but Krissy is the comptroller and it may be a stretch to talk her into it. I'm working on it.
Nitro: I have driven up to the event in Oregon two years running. It ends up being about a 2000 mile trip. Ventura Ace has me beat though, last year (Oregon 08) he drove about 8000 miles all told on a trip that included the event. In July!

The spider is quite comfortable for long drives, and there's a fair amount of room for carrying your stuff, especially if you can talk a good buddy into carrying your tent, sleeping bags, etc. in his trailer! Ron, you should post a picture of your spider pulling the trailer. I always make sure that I carry extra parts and tools when heading out on a long distance venture. It has paid off.

OK Ace, I can always be talked into showing pictures of the car, especially towing the trailer up to the Oregon get together. This one is with Mt. Shasta in the background on the way up this year:

If a person were shy it wouldn't be a good idea to do this, it attracts a lot of attention!

George? Road Trip? Ten hours for us.

Hey Mike, just put the cars in a trailer then you won't need no stinkin' tools. Besides, I usually bring enough for everyone.

Ralph,

As long as I can get my seats re-done before then, I'm in. 10 hours sitting sideways with no discernible cushioning is probably a bit much. Mechanically she'll make it no problem.

If Pope brings Mom, I'm in. If Pope brings Mom, I bet we get a respectable size caravan from out here!

Late reply to Mike: I guess you'd have to see it to get a sense of what's in that little trailer. No way a luggage rack would carry everything: tent, sleeping bags, cooking gear, cooler, luggage, ect, ect, ect. Kind of like George Castanza packed for a two day trip to California.

Hi Ralph,
TOOLS! SPARE PARTS! WHY WOULD WE NEED ANY OF THOSE? Well if everybody is going I guess I'll have to go to. We will have to get Doug, Brady, and Ali to go. How are we going to get Bradys car down there? Who's going to drive the chase car?
If we get my 1981 squared away someone can drive that down if we need another vehicle.
