Done. For some reason they neglected to charge me a ridiculous amount to ship it over the border. I've spent the value of the magazine twice over in gas checking out magazine and book shops in my travels the last two days. In fact shipping was listed as "0". Too good to be true? We'll see.

Yup......no shipping here either, just sales tax added on. Did the same thing you did...drove around and stopped at 3 different book stores trying to find it before just doing it on line.

Done also. Of course, the shipping was far more than the Magazine, but that's life.

I recently bought "The Essential Fiat 124 Spider and Coupe" The cars and their story 1966 - 85 by Martin Buckley. A fascinating history of how the car came about, prototypes and the full run etc etc. If you haven't got it, it's worth considering. :D

It must be international Fiat Spider month!

The latest issue of the UK produced Auto Italia magazine (Issue 164, 4th Nov - 1 Dec 2009) contains a 6 page 'Fiat 124 Spider Buyers Guide' featuring a metallic red 1985 DS, RHD, Spidereuropa. Words are by Keith Seume and photography is by the always excellent in-house 'snapper' Michael Ward.

I believe that Auto Italia magazine may be available from Barnes & Noble in the US.

Also, look out for their upcoming 'Italian Legends' special features reprint publication.

Damn, that looks like my first car from 1978. The color and wheels. Im so tempted to paint my car orange again. Ivbe noticed spiders coming up alot in magazines and auto catalogs I get at the house. Its pretty cool, almost like now we exist.
