Nothing is wrong with a SYNTHETIC Brake fluid it all compatible with DOT 3 and 4. What you dont want is SILICONE brake fluid in your system.

This post got me curious,so out to the garage.4 containers of brake fluid,DOT 3and 4,and none say synthetic anywhere.Maybe Mike is on to something...possibly enviromental laws in Texas?The NHRA just banned brake cleaner with any chlorinated ingredients,due to envir. concerns.We have 5 cases of it in the trailer...all chlorinated.Great,except the newer stuff is more expensive and doesnt work worth a flip!
